RJY would like to provide an updated advisory regarding recent pricing pressure affecting our control board products and integrated display-control solutions.

Since the beginning of 2026, the global semiconductor and electronic component supply chain has continued to experience uncertainty. Trade policy changes, raw material cost fluctuations, memory and storage price increases, and temporary shortages of certain main control MCU models have all created additional pressure on embedded hardware procurement.

On January 14, 2026, the U.S. government issued a proclamation adjusting imports of certain semiconductor products and related derivative products. In parallel, ongoing global supply chain pressure involving critical electronic materials and high-performance computing components has further affected the cost structure of embedded control platforms.

As a result, RJY is issuing the following updated price adjustment notice.

1. Updated Price Adjustment Notice

Due to rising semiconductor procurement costs, increased pressure on memory and storage components, and temporary supply shortages of selected main control MCU models, RJY will adjust the pricing of affected control board products.

This update applies to RJY control boards, system control boards, Android control boards, HMI controllers, and integrated display-control solutions that use DDR4 memory, eMMC storage, or MCU configurations affected by current market conditions.

Based on the previous price adjustment range, RJY will apply an additional price increase of approximately 2% to 4% for affected configurations.

The final adjustment will depend on the specific product model, DDR4 capacity, eMMC capacity, MCU model, order quantity, project configuration, and confirmed component availability at the time of quotation.

This updated pricing policy will apply to new quotations and new orders issued on or after June 15, 2026.

2. Products and Configurations Most Affected

The price adjustment mainly affects control board configurations with higher memory and storage requirements, including but not limited to:

Android control boards with large-capacity DDR4 memory
Control boards using high-capacity eMMC storage
HMI controllers requiring stable long-term MCU supply
Customized embedded display-control platforms
Integrated display and computing solutions for industrial, medical, robotics, smart equipment, and AIoT applications

Standard configurations with lower memory and storage requirements may be less affected. However, final pricing remains subject to real-time material costs and supply availability.

3. Procurement and Project Planning Recommendations

To help customers reduce the impact on project budgets and supply schedules, RJY recommends the following actions:

Review upcoming demand early.
Customers with projects scheduled for Q3 and Q4 of 2026 are encouraged to review control board demand, prototype requirements, and forecasted production quantities as early as possible.

Confirm quotations within the validity period.
Due to fast-changing component prices, quotations involving DDR4, eMMC, and selected MCU models may have shorter validity periods than usual. We recommend confirming purchase plans before quotation expiration.

Evaluate memory and storage requirements.
For projects still in the design, prototype, or validation stage, RJY’s engineering team can help review whether the selected DDR4 and eMMC configuration is appropriate for the application. In some cases, optimized memory or storage selection may help control cost without affecting core system requirements.

Plan safety stock for long-cycle projects.
For robotics, medical, industrial control, smart equipment, and other long-lifecycle applications, customers are advised to prepare reasonable safety stock to reduce the risk of future supply disruption or additional cost fluctuation.

Share rolling forecasts when possible.
Customers with repeat orders or annual demand plans are encouraged to share forecast information with RJY. Earlier demand visibility allows us to coordinate procurement more effectively and improve supply stability for key projects.

4. Support for Existing Projects

RJY understands that pricing changes may affect project budgets, procurement approval, and product launch schedules.

For existing projects, we will review each case based on quotation status, material availability, order confirmation progress, and production schedule. Customers with ongoing projects are encouraged to contact their RJY sales representative as soon as possible to confirm the latest pricing and delivery plan.

RJY will continue to make reasonable efforts to support stable supply, responsible quotation management, and practical engineering consultation.

5. RJY’s Commitment

Global supply chain pressure remains a challenge for embedded hardware manufacturers and OEM project teams. RJY will continue to monitor market changes closely and work with customers to reduce unnecessary integration risk, improve project planning, and support long-term product maintenance.
