Warranty Policy

Effective Date: October 21, 2021
Applies To: All hardware products manufactured or supplied by RJY Display®

We stand behind the reliability and long-term performance of our display modules, touchscreen assemblies, and embedded interface solutions. We offer a standard 12-month limited warranty on most products, unless otherwise specified in the sales agreement or datasheet.


Warranty Coverage

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal usage conditions during the warranty period.

Covered Components:

  • TFT LCD panels (TN/IPS/transflective)
  • Capacitive/resistive touch panels
  • Optical bonding layers (OCA/LOCA)
  • FPC cables, connectors, and interface boards (if supplied by us)
  • Display driver ICs, touch controller ICs, and integrated circuits

Covered Conditions:

  • Dead pixels exceeding ISO standard thresholds
  • Touch controller malfunction or detection loss
  • Backlight failure (non-mechanical)
  • Interface instability due to internal circuit fault
  • Bonding delamination or fogging (within rated temperature range)

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:

  • Improper integration or mounting into host systems
  • Over-voltage, reverse polarity, or ESD beyond spec
  • Mechanical stress, bending, impact, or physical abuse
  • Use outside of specified temperature/humidity limits
  • Unapproved modifications, soldering, or repairs
  • Natural aging, minor brightness reduction, or color shift

Custom products (e.g. logo-printed cover glass, altered FPC layouts) are covered only for confirmed material or process defects.


Warranty Period

  • Standard term: 12 months from shipping date
  • For long-lifecycle projects or by special agreement, extended warranties (18–36 months) may be arranged at time of quotation

Please refer to your invoice, packing slip, or contract to verify the applicable warranty term.


How to Submit a Warranty Claim

If you encounter a product issue during the warranty period, please contact your assigned sales manager directly. They will coordinate with our internal engineering team to assess the issue and guide you through the next steps.

To facilitate efficient support, please prepare the following information:

  • Purchase order number or invoice reference
  • Product part number and batch number (if available)
  • Description of the problem, including usage environment
  • Photographs or videos clearly showing the fault

Our sales and technical team will jointly evaluate the issue within 3–5 business days, and inform you whether the case qualifies as a warranty claim.

Please do not return any product before receiving written instructions from our team.


Warranty Resolution

Once the issue is verified as a covered warranty case, we will arrange the most appropriate resolution based on the project timeline and product availability:

  • Repair – When practical and within reasonable turnaround time
  • Replacement – With identical or functionally equivalent unit
  • Credit offset – In specific cases such as discontinued items or volume delays

All arrangements will be coordinated by your sales contact. Warranty replacements do not renew or extend the original warranty period.

For large-volume or customized products, partial batch return or field engineering assistance may be offered depending on your location and integration stage.


Limitation of Liability

Our liability under this warranty is limited solely to the repair, replacement, or refund of the defective product. We are not responsible for:

  • Consequential or incidental damages
  • Labor costs associated with reinstallation or diagnosis
  • Losses resulting from downtime or delayed integration
