High Reciprocal Tariffs: Order Status and Customs Clearance
The U.S. government plans to impose a cumulative tariff of at least 125% on Chinese imports starting April 9 (UTC-4). We urge all our customers in the U.S. to closely monitor the status of your orders.
For customers whose orders have either already shipped or are yet to be dispatched, please contact your business manager as soon as possible to confirm your customs clearance qualifications and any other relevant details.
If your order has already cleared customs in a timely manner, we recommend reaching out to your business manager to discuss potential additional costs associated with product after-sales services, as these costs may be impacted by the new tariff.
Impending Change in US Tariff Policy: Small Package Duty Exemption
Additionally, we would like to inform our customers that the U.S. government is planning to cancel the $800 exemption for small packages starting May 2 (UTC -4). If you are considering placing an order for samples and are hoping to benefit from tax exemptions or reduced taxes, please contact your business manager to confirm the details of your order as soon as possible to ensure you don’t incur unnecessary costs.
At RJY Display, we understand the challenges that this new tariff policy may present and are committed to supporting our U.S. customers through these changes. Our business managers are available to assist you with any concerns or adjustments required for your orders.
For further information or assistance, please reach out to your designated RJY Display representative.
Thank you for your continued partnership.
